Gold is Minnesota Club Soccer's top team. Gold plays MIAC first teams around the state in pre-season which feature some of the best NCAA Division 3 programs in the nation. Gold is a top performer in their region and consistently makes deep runs in the National Tournament (Opponents include other Big Ten, SEC, Pac-12 schools).
Maroon is the club's second team that plays a mix of MIAC first teams and reserves in the preseason and later on plays various nearby competitive club and men's league teams. Maroon travels to Ames, Iowa for the Cyclone Invitational and then often gains a berth to the National Tournament.
The University of Minnesota Women's Club Soccer team is a student-run organization that competes in NIRSA's collegiate club league. The club team competes against other DI clubs, and DII and DIII varsity colleges and universities. The club has become a regional powerhouse with berths to the National Tournament in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022.
